The Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) is a unique public education agency. One of 58 counties in California, Contra Costa County serves the 11th largest public-school student population in the state, supporting approximately 169,394 students. Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical duties involved in the purchasing of designated supplies, equipment, and services for the County Office in accordance with purchasing policies and practices and requisition specifications; orders and accounts for inventory and supplies; contacts suppliers and gathers prices, quotes, product information, and technical data for review; and performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college level coursework in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field and two (2) years of experience related to purchasing supplies and equipment.
