Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Superintendent, the Long-Term Substitute Teacher will be responsible for leading the 2nd Grade class at the start of the school year during the absence of the regularly assigned teacher. This assignment will begin on August 6, 2026, and continue through late October or November, depending on the classroom teacher's return date. For the duration of the assignment, the Long-Term Substitute Teacher is expected to work a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including attendance at school events as assigned. As the Long-Term Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student progress, communicating effectively with parents and staff, providing classroom management and supervision, and performing other duties necessary to ensure continuity of instruction and student learning.
