RUSD is seeking dynamic educators who exhibit the following: • Knowledge of modern teaching methods and techniques for students with IEPs • Ability to assess individual needs, establish appropriate goals, and design and implement a program for each student. • Strong pedagogical skills • Breadth of experience in educational technology • Instruction with a 21st century perspective Rowland Unified serves a diverse, multilingual student community. Requirements / Qualifications

RUSD requires applicants to have a valid California Credential in Special Education authorizing Mild Moderate Support Needs or Mild/Moderate with Autism authorization and hold a CLAD or similar authorization for instruction to English Learners. Intern Eligible Candidates will be considered. Please upload your intern eligibility letter form instead of a copy of your credentials. Credential students who will complete their credential program in December 2025 and have their documents issued by 01/12/2026 are encouraged to apply. All required documents must be attached to your EdJoin application. We do not accept faxed, emailed, or mailed documents.

  • Copy of Transcript (Copies of all college coursework credits)
  • Credential Copy (Valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities (including Autism) or Mild to Moderate Support Needs )
  • English Learner Authorization (CLAD/BCLAD or similar English Learner authorization)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 (preferably within the last 2 years and from at least one direct supervisor))
  • Resume
