The Contra Costa County Office of Education is a unique agency. One of 58 counties in the state of California, Contra Costa County has the 11th largest public school student population in the state. Requirements / Qualifications

ROUND 1 INTERVIEWS ARE SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2024 (Round 2 interviews will be scheduled following the New Year holiday) Education and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field • Master's Degree, preferred • Five (5) years teaching experience • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a site, district or county office level administrator, preferred. • Valid California Administrative Services Credential • Valid California Driver’s License • Knowledge of math content standards , state framework, pedagogical content and equitable assessments. Please submit the following required documents: • Official on-line application • Current Resume • A personal letter of introduction, outlining your experience, training and interest in this position • Three current letters of recommendation including at least one from a supervisor (dated within the last year) The following questions are included in the on-line application and those applications that do not have answers included will not be considered. Under the direction of an assigned administrator, plan, organize, coordinate and implement the operations, activities, educational services and support functions of assigned subject areas and programs for local school districts; coordinate communications, information and resources to meet school district needs and enhance student learning; provide consultation and staff development activities to administrators and faculty to enhance the educational effectiveness of assigned programs and subject areas. The employee in this position will coordinate grant programs with an emphasis in the mathematics content area and as assigned. The employee in this position should have knowledge of math content standards , state framework, pedagogical content and equitable assessments.
