Requirements / Qualifications
Copy of appropriate credential: Education Specialist Instruction (Early Childhood Special Education) Autism Authorization English Learner Authorization: ELD/SDAIE, CLAD, CTEL, and/or 2042 Resume Cover letter Minimum of 3 letters of recommendation Copy of transcripts Copy of CBEST verification If you are not yet a California Preliminary or Clear Credential holder, be sure to obtain a Certificate of Clearance (CoC) from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) at https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/submit-online.

Salary placement - up to 12 years of experience credit may be granted with initial step placement at Step 13. The Superintendent may grant up to 21 years of experience credit (maximum initial step placement at Step 22) for initial placement of employees hired to serve in hard to fill positions or as they deem appropriate.
