Thank you for considering Rowland Unified School District, home of multiple award-winning schools! We are looking for dynamic individuals with a minimum of two years previous Cheer Coach experience at the high school, college, and/or club level. Under the general supervision of the Principal, Athletic Director and/or other appropriate administrators, the position of Head Cheer Coach will be required to follow the policies and procedures of the high school’s athletic program. Duties include, but are not limited to, recruiting and selecting new members, creating choreographies, organizing practice sessions, supervising student cheerleaders during warm-up, practice, performance, etc., prioritize student safety, possess training skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to deliver constructive criticism. A successful candidate will demonstrate required experience as a Cheer Coach through a current resume, letters of recommendation, and during the interview process (if applicable). **THIS IS A STIPEND POSITION which can coincide with a teaching position, a classified position, or a stand-alone non-classified "at-will" position**
