For 58 years, La Honda Pescadero Unified has provided PreK-12 educational and community support for the children, families, and South Coast communities of La Honda, Pescadero, Loma Mar, and San Gregorio. From coastal frontage to the Santa Cruz Mountains ridge tops, LHPUSD serves the academic needs of approximately 300 students spread across 160 square miles, the largest San Mateo County school district geographically, simultaneously serving the smallest student population. Powered by volunteerism and community giving, this remoteness and diversity of families and ecosystems give our district schools their personality and character.
