Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (Mental Health Counseling) at Covina-Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
A master's degree from an accredited university or college in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT Intern), or any related counseling degree; and registration with the state Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and working towards licensure are required. Experience working with students and families in a school district or county office, experience facilitating group therapy, experience working with at-risk or special education students; Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), Art Therapy Registered (ATR), and bilingual in Spanish are preferred.
A valid California driver's license, letter of introduction, resume, two letters of recommendation, copy of transcripts, and copy of valid and current BBS registration must be attached to your Edjoin application. Must show proof of First Aid & CPR Certification within the first year of working.
