IS PREPARED TO: 

• Be a key leader for the district-wide IBI program serving students in preschool through adult transition
• Effectively utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) theory and methods to further develop successful IBI programs
• Coordinate, schedule, and maintain all behavioral intervention services for students served by IBI
• Serve as an Autism expert for the District and the development of appropriate behavioral intervention programs to meet student needs
• Train District employees and parents in positive behavior intervention supports for school and home programs
• Collaboratively consult with District employees, outside agencies, and parents on IBI program components and individual student needs
• Comprehensively assess behavioral needs and develop effective intervention plans as a member of the student’s IEP team
• Provide and support overall program supervision for students receiving IBI services
• Consult with teachers, psychologists, and paraprofessionals in the use of behavior interventions
• Provide technical support and training in applied behavior analysis to classroom teacher and staff
• Participate in the IEP process as a member of the IEP team
• In collaboration with the School Psychologist to address behavior functional analysis assessments and functional behavior assessments
• Assists in preparing trainings and in-service presentations
• Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, staff meetings and program visitations.

Requirements:

• An earned Master’s Degree
• Prefer: BCBA certified or BCBA eligible; BICM experience highly desired

Salary and Work Year:

• Specialist/Non-Administrative Salary Schedule $81,867 to $94,855
• Assignment length – 200 duty days
