Candidates for Preschool teaching positions must meet the following qualifications: •Bachelor of Art or Science degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Elementary Education or closely related field. •Early Childhood teacher permit or credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. *A minimum of 24 ECE units as a part of degree or certificate program. Candidates for Infant/Toddler teaching positions must meet the following qualifications: • Prior professional experience in classroom leadership is required. •Early Childhood teacher permit or credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. *A minimum of 24 ECE units as a part of degree or certificate program. •At least 6 infant/toddler ECE units •At least 3 years teaching experience in a nursery with infants and toddlers (3 months to 3 years old).

Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool, a Christian program with developmental emergent-curriculum philosophy and accredited through NAEYC, is seeking candidates for Preschool teaching positions and Infant/Toddler teaching positions. These positions begin at the end of August 2012. Typical work months for Preschool teachers are 10-month (September-June), however we are also looking to hire long-term substitutes for periods of time throughout the school year. Typical work months for the Infant/Toddler teachers are 12-month. Salary range for teaching positions is $13.50-$15.00 per hour.
