Comments and Other Information

Current vacancies are at Baldy Mesa Elementary School, Pinon Hills Elementary School, and Pinon Mesa Middle School. School sites and student assignments are subject to change based on student needs throughout Snowline JUSD. These positions provide one-to-one (1:1) support to an assigned student. Employees will transition with their assigned student as the student advances to another school or transfers to a different site within the district. If an assigned student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) no longer includes 1:1 services, the employee will be reassigned to the first available student requiring 1:1 support at any district site. Until a permanent 1:1 assignment is needed, the employee may provide support to students during temporary 30-day assessment periods on a rotational basis. All applicants, including current Snowline employees, must submit their application through edjoin.org. Applications will be screened, and only the best qualified candidates will be invited for testing and interviews, as determined by the school district. If you have 48 units of post secondary schooling, or an AA, please attach a copy of your degree or unofficial transcripts to be excused from the required NCLB/ESSA test. Applicants that would like assistance utilizing the EdJoin system and attaching required documents are welcome to contact Denise Hignite at (760) 868-5817 ext. 10133 for assistance at least 48 hours prior to the position closing date and time.
