This position is on call as needed you must be available for daytime and evening coverage. An Adult Ed substitute teacher’s primary responsibility is to provide instruction, ensure safety, accurately record attendance, and maintain a respectful learning environment while following all program and district policies.

Requirements and Qualifications: • Valid teaching credential • Must have "Certificate of Clearance" (www.ctc.ca.gov) • Experience working with adults preferred • Ability to communicate comfortably (written and orally) with students, administrators, and others • Ability to follow and enforce rules, policies, and procedures • Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting of up to approximately 30 pounds may be required • Must be punctual, reliable, and flexible.
