INDUCTION MENTOR (195 DAYS) EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, DUAL LANGUAGE, SPECIAL EDUCATION: This position supports the TUSD Teacher Induction Program through the coaching and support of Induction Teacher Candidates in order to increase effectiveness in the classroom and ultimately enhance student achievement. The mentor will assist Candidates in growth toward mastery of the CSTP, TUSD Signature Practices, and success in the classroom. The mentor supports their Candidate caseload individually, and ensures the standards of the Induction program are followed and met, in addition to ensuring Teacher Candidates complete their Induction cycles and work in the program successfully. **Permanent TUSD teachers are eligible to apply for these temporary assignments while maintaining their status at their current school site**
Requirements / Qualifications
Must have a clear CA Single Subject OR Multiple Subject teaching credential OR Educational Specialist with CLAD/BCLAD or English Learner Authorization. CBEST (or other qualifying basic skills requirement as outlined by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing) is required. **Early Childhood, Dual Language Immersion and/or SPED experience preferred**
