ACUSD/ACOE Student Teachers substitutes must be enrolled in a state approved credential preparation program.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Must be a current Student Teacher enrolled in a state approved credential preparation program. 2. Student Teachers must be Fingerprinted (Live Scan) & TB tested with ACUSD prior to stepping onto our campus. You must have HR clearance to begin Student Teaching. 3.Credential Requirements: *If you currently have an active 30 Day Permit with the CTC please skip to #4. *If you do not have a 30 day permit with the CTC please see their website linked here: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl-505p/ ** CTC requires their own fingerprinting/ Live scan clearance, Official transcripts with conferral of baccalaureate or higher degree and processing fees. 4. Submit this Edjoin application and the HR office will reach out to you via email once received.
If selected you will receive an email from the HR office for the next steps to gather: Required paperwork/ forms. Qualifying ID copies for I-9 Form. TB clearance (Valid for 4 years) You must have an active credential or 30 day permit with the CTC to Student Teacher Substitute. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
