Comments and Other Information

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in nutrition services, preferably in California public schools. Equivalent to completion of 4 year degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in food, nutrition, institutional and business administration or related fields. Demonstrated ability to lead and administer nutrition services programs, exercise independent judgment, and work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and the public. Must complete all required federal and state continuing education requirements. Equivalent combination of extensive or unique experience may be considered in lieu of some requirements at the District’s discretion.
