Job Summary

Under supervision of the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Guidance, to perform responsible detail work which is primarily clerical and procedural in nature, including, but not limited to the high school student registration process; to provide comprehensive program planning information for students; to assist students with educational program planning, scheduling and class selection and/or changes; to handle a variety of highly sensitive and privileged matters.

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by course work or training in all clerical skills or related field and one year of responsible clerical experience; experience working in a school setting desired but not required.

EXAMINATION INFORMATION: All applicants must pass a series of three tests before interview consideration. The three tests consist of: 1.) A written skills test; 2.) MS Word computer software application test; 3.) MS Excel computer software application test. ACCOMMODATIONS: In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, applicants with disabilities may request that reasonable accommodation be given related to the examination process itself. Applicants must notify the Office of Human Resources in writing of the type of accommodations being requested at the time of filing the application. Applicants may be required to provide documentation supporting the request for accommodation when the request is made. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance.
