Excellent computer skills. Excellent writing and communication skills. Basic library skills, practices and terminology. Under general supervision perform general duties in the operation of the library and do related work as required. Prefer one year general clerical and office experience. Works independently. Assists teachers and students in finding materials they desire; Inventories books and maintains book room; Assists teachers in locating appropriate materials and compiling materials for their classes; Trains and directs the work of volunteers and students in the circulation and shelving of materials; Orders newspapers and periodicals for library and faculty. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work. There is no credentialed librarian assigned to the site.
