About the Employer
Novato Unified School District (NUSD) has 700+ staff members who, along with the larger school community, are responsible for the education of over 7,500 students. We have eight elementary schools, including one dual-immersion, one K-8 school, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. NUSD also has an Alternative Education Center housing a continuation school and an independent study student program serving grades K-12. All schools within Novato Unified offer special education services, along with Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), and special assistance is provided for all English learner students. Monday-Friday – 4 hours per day
SALARY:
$43.45 per hour (Camp University days)
$900 stipend (Summer Steam Institute)
$150 stipend (Training/Prep Day)

Position Description
Under the supervision of the Camp University Principal, teachers will instruct students who are entering grades 1-5 for the Novato Unified School District/YMCA Camp University program.

A record of TB clearance will be required of successful candidate.
