Job Summary

Our ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing person with high standards. She/he would work under the immediate supervision of the site administrator and would collaborate with and coach teachers in developing, implementing and evaluating literacy instructional practices and curriculum that meet the needs of all learners. The applicant must be interested in developing a vision and goals for the literacy program that reflect evidence-based practices, the effective integration of technology and an inclusive, differentiated literacy curriculum. The applicant must also be committed to participating as a dedicated team member, interested in a literacy-rich environment, willing to continue professional development, and be committed to engage with families and the community.

Preliminary or Professional Clear Multiple Subject Credential, CA Reading and Literacy Added Authorization (RLAA) or the CA Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist (RLLS) Credential and ELL Authorization (CLAD), NCLB compliant. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Offers of employment subject to: Valid California Driver’s License, Fingerprint clearance, and Negative TB clearance
