CONTRACTED POSITION - Coordinator - Facility Construction at Milpitas Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent with trade school or college level courses in one or more skilled trades area, estimating, drafting or similar courses. Ten (10) years of experience in one or more of the skilled trades areas. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience at the supervisory level. Demonstrated leadership, organizational and management abilities. Meet district standards for physical and mental health. Lives within 20 miles of district in order to respond to call back emergencies.

CONTRACTED POSITION -
Manage and coordinates Bond Measure modernization and all other facility projects with contractors, architects, construction management Company and other consultants. Assist the site construction fieldwork and acting like a liaison between the contractors and the District’s Maintenance and Operation department. Assist in preparation and maintenance of the District Facility Master Plan. The person in this position may be called in to work for any emergencies, and may be required to work extended hours to assist in managing a facilities-based emergency. The Bond Measure duration is approximately Five to Six years; therefore, this position will terminate upon completion of all Bond Measure projects.
