$46.33 - $71.96 an hour based on the Certificated salary schedule. Additional $2,057 awarded annually for a Master’s and $2,742 awarded annually for a Doctorate earned from an accredited college or university (prorated for part time employment).
Length of Work Year
8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 185 days per year beginning in August 2019 pending successful fingerprint clearance, pre-employment physical (first-time educators only) and submission of recent tuberculosis test as required by the California Ed Code.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Possess a valid California Credential authorizing language and speech instruction; • A Master of Arts Degree in speech and language therapy; • Two (2) years of experience as a speech and language therapist in a public school setting, including one (1) year of experience working with children birth to age 5 preferred; • Possess or obtain upon employment, a valid California Driver License; • Provide proof of automobile insurability; • Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting fifty (50) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of fifty (50) pounds with assistance.

Employee will be a member of the State Teachers’ Retirement System (STRS) and may elect to become a member of the Mendocino County Federation of School Employees.
