Requirements for Applying

TWO POSITIONS COUNTYWIDE To be considered for this position, the candidate must submit: • An online application; • A cover letter addressing specific competencies for the position; • A resume with clearly described education and employment background, including dates of employment at each organization, and compensation history; • Three current (3) letters of recommendation; • A copy of a required Degree or Credential(s) and transcripts. Official transcripts at time of hire.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Possess a valid California Credential authorizing language and speech instruction; • A Master of Arts Degree in speech and language therapy; • Two (2) years of experience as a speech and language therapist in a public school setting, including one (1) year of experience working with children birth to age 5 preferred; • Possess or obtain upon employment, a valid California Driver License; • Provide proof of automobile insurability; • Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting fifty (50) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
