Job Summary
Job Summary
Audits the attendance records of District schools, compiles attendance reports for submission to the County Office of Education and the state; monitors District collections; performs moderately complex accounting work involved in the maintenance of the District’s financial and statistical records. Additional other duties as assigned related to emergency, crisis and/or pandemic. *New Hire Sign on Bonus of $1,000! Bonus is a one time "off-schedule" stipend for New Classified employees. First $500 paid after second supplemental pay period of working month, remaining $500 paid at end of school year.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: - 2 Letters of Recommendation - High School equivalent - Additional course work demonstrating ability with numbers and understanding of accounting and auditing principles Experience: - Two years experience performing increasingly difficult recordkeeping or accounting work, preferably involving school district attendance recordkeeping
Must complete Mandated Reporter Training- School Personnel module before first day of employment. When you apply for this position, you will receive an email attachment with the details of this training. Work Week: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Includes 60 minute unpaid lunch break)
