Visions In Education is seeking a Technology Support Supervisor that will create technical solutions which include installing, analyzing, maintaining, tuning, monitoring, securing and troubleshooting a variety of computing devices. This position will assign and direct the work of technology support staff and/or contractors, will provide consultation, advice on major implementation and will provide technical leadership. This position will assist support staff and end-users in the configuration and troubleshooting of more complex computer issues. This position will lead the team of Student Technology Support staff to provide quality customer service and support to our end-users. This position will be responsible for the timely delivery of technology devices to our customers. Will maintain clean, organized, functional, and prepared technology inventory stock levels. Will be responsible for managing a location that is public facing and supports students and families at various hours. Will act as a project leader on complex technology projects and initiatives, will analyze business needs and develop solutions and will define best practices for the student technology support department. Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:30pm at our office in Carmichael, CA We have a very generous, competitive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid Medical/Dental/Vision (single), Retirement (CalPERS), Vacation (10 days), Sick and Holiday (22 which includes 2 weeks of paid time off over the holiday season). •Two (2) years of professional experience providing customer service and technology support to diverse stakeholder groups. •One or more years experience leading teams of support is highly desirable. Technology support areas should include experience leading staff with customer service, inventory management, computer repair, software maintenance, vendor relationships, and supporting and implementing best practices.
