Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the site Principal, provides the instruction, supervision, and other related tasks of a self-contained classroom of students placed in the Opportunity Program due to behavior or attendance difficulties. The goal of the Opportunity Program is centered on developing a positive classroom climate conducive to improving student behaviors and attendance while meeting their academic needs.

Education: • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) • Valid CA Multiple Subject teaching credential with embedded EL authorization or CLAD Experience: • A minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience • Training in the area of at-risk student populations (preferred)

- English Learner Authorization (if your EL authorization is embedded in your credential, you do not need to attach a separate document; however, if you hold a CLAD certificate, please attach here.)

Add'l Salary Info
$62,298 - $102,836/year plus applicable longevity and advanced degree stipends. In addition, District pays $840 monthly cap for benefits.

STIPEND:
