Job Summary
Job Summary
The Mental Health and Wellness Clinician provides mental health and wellness supports to students of all ages, primarily co-located at K-12 and/or Adult education sites throughout Solano County. The Mental Health and Wellness Clinician provides a range of mental health services to include: • Behavioral Health Screenings • Clinical Assessments • Development of Client Service Plans • Individual and Group Counseling • Collateral contact with family • Case Management • Crisis Intervention and Risk Assessment • Safety Planning Additionally, the Mental Health and Wellness Clinician supports prevention and early intervention activities to include: • Participation in provision of Universal Screening at school sites • Social Emotional Learning workshops (whole classroom and/or small group) • Psychoeducational Workshops • Leading Suicide Prevention and Stigma Reduction Trainings for students/educators/parents and guardians/whole community

Possession of a valid California driver’s license. Possession of Master of Social Work, Master of Arts/Science in Counseling, Master of Arts/Science in Psychology, or PhD/PsyD from an accredited school of social work or psychology. Must have a valid registration or license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology. Experience providing direct clinical services, to include conducting clinical assessments and providing individual/group/family counseling. Knowledge of trauma and attachment informed clinical practice. Understanding of basic theoretical and developmental principles of children and adolescents. Experience in providing clinical services to a diverse range of individuals. Experience and knowledge in comprehensive documentation standards. Ability of understand and communicate effectively with other cultures. Pre-Employment Requirements: - Fingerprinting - TB Clearance
