Job Summary

Job Summary

DUTIES: Under supervision, to monitor student behavior on an elementary or middle school campus; to enforce school rules and issue citations/detention slips; and to perform related work as required. Patrol designated areas; maintain order in the cafeteria during lunch; mediate disagreements; identify and report unauthorized individuals on campus; watch for smoking, alcohol, drugs, and weapons. QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of: Child and adolescent behavior; appropriate safety precautions and procedures. - Ability to: Learn and apply with good judgment District and school policies related to student behavior and activities; understand and carry our oral and written instructions; use a simple hand-held radio/transmitter. - Desirable: Bilingual. High School or the equivalent of completion of high school. - REQUIRED: Fingerprints and TB test required upon initial employment.
