Job Summary

Job Summary

DUTIES: Under supervision, monitor student behavior on school campus; enforce District and school policies and rules; observe and report any damage to school property; patrol campus and student parking areas; use a hand-held radio for communication; watch for smoking, alcohol, drugs, and weapons; assist students with locker and locked car problems; on teacher planning work days, assist the school staff as needed; participate in District mandated training and retraining programs. QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of: Adolescent behavior; appropriate safety precautions and procedures. - Ability to: Learn and apply District/ school policies; control the behavior and activities of students in a wide variety of situations; use a simple hand-held radio/transmitter. - Desirable: Bilingual. Equivalent to completion of high school. - REQUIRED: Fingerprints and TB test required upon initial employment.
