Sebastopol USD is looking for local people to be on our Food Service sub list. Occasionally we will need someone to fill in for an employee on a scheduled or non-scheduled day off. You can accept or decline as your schedule permits. The sub will work with the Food Service Worker to prepare, serve and clean up meals for the day. This district provides 2 meal per day to all students. The maximum amount of hours worked in one day is 4 hours. You could be notified in advance or on short notice the day you are needed. All training is provided. Examples of Duties and Responsibilities: • Receive and store food items, supplies and materials properly. • Set up, sell and serve hot and cold food to students and faculty • Function as a cashier, including counting and following district procedures of monies • Maintain inventory control • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions • Perform other related duties as assigned

This position is up to 4 hours/day, possible schedule is 9:30am-1:30pm; the position follows the academic calendar for work days.
If hired, the successful candidate will need to be cleared with DOJ & FBI fingerprinting (district reimbursed) and have a clear TB test or Risk Assessment (employee responsibility). As a requirement for our insurance, this position will have a Pre-Employment Physical paid by the district.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Good customer service
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Post Offer/Pre-Employment Physical
