Job Summary

Roseland Elementary School has an immediate opening for Library Assistant. Under the general direction of the school principal, the library assistant will organize and coordinate the library services for use by students and staff. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

1. High School graduation/equivalent or beyond; 2. A passing score on the academic proficiency test for instructional assistants* 3. Experience working with children desired; 4. Successful work experience outside the home desired; 5. Knowledge and ability to use computers desired; 6. Ability to work successfully with individual students and groups of students; 7. Proficiency in Spanish, both oral and written desired. *Proficiency Exam not required if you have an AA Degree or higher or 48 units at an accredited institution of higher learning. Must provide official transcripts to verify at time of hire.
