Roseland Collegiate Prep is hiring an Assistant Principal. At Roseland Collegiate Prep, education is about providing a diverse range of learning opportunities in which our students can become well-rounded individuals and literate in technology and other core subject areas. Assistant Principal Duties: To assist and support the site principal to ensure on site administration and execution of the Charter education programs, policies and regulations of development of school goals and objectives in cooperation with staff, allocations of human resources within the school setting, and facilitation of cooperative community relations to ensure the quality of instruction for all students in a safe and healthy environment. Required Qualifications: *Recent 3-5 years teaching experience in K-12, preferably at the high school level. *Successful record of teaching and school leadership. *Administrative credential or Internship Administrative credential or enrolled in a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program. Other Desirable Qualifications: *Bilingual English/Spanish *Master’s Degree *Knowledge of or experience with fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, MTSS, and language programs for English learners. Licenses and Other Requirements: *A valid California driver’s license, including clean driving record and evidence of appropriate automobile insurance based on DMV regulations may be required. This position requires frequent traveling by the employee’s own vehicle to sites and trainings. *Fingerprint and TB clearance Other Requirements: *All employees must complete fingerprint background clearance through the California Department of Justice prior to beginning work * Negative TB test or Clear TB Risk Assessment
