EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS 1. Minimum High school diploma. AA or beyond highly desirable. 2. Must pass a Roseland School District’s Secondary Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test prior to employment for No Child Left Behind compliance and to demonstrate ability to assist college bound high school students or possess an A.A. or higher or 48 units at an accredited institution of higher learning. 3. Experience supervising and instructing secondary students is desirable. 4. Experience in working with English language learners is desirable. 5. Good interpersonal skills; friendly, positive and cooperative with all staff. 6. First Aid certification required. 7. CPR certification desired.
If Basic proficiency test needed, the District will administer.
