Job Summary

Roseland Accelerated Middle School (RAMS) is hiring a temporary Secondary Instructional Assistant for the 2022-2023 school year (bilingual preferred). RAMS serves 7th and 8th grade students. RAMS is known for high expectations and students are expected to work hard on their academics. RAMS is also known for amazing school spirit. Our talented and motivating teaching staff ensures that there is time for fun and rewards for student successes. Each year students enjoy field trips, motivating assemblies and many opportunities to show-off their RAMS school spirit.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS 1. Minimum High school diploma. AA or beyond highly desirable. 2. Must pass a Roseland School District’s Secondary Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test prior to employment for No Child Left Behind compliance and to demonstrate ability to assist college bound high school students or possess an A.A. or higher or 48 units at an accredited institution of higher learning. 3. Experience supervising and instructing secondary students is desirable. 4. Experience in working with English language learners is desirable. 5. Good interpersonal skills; friendly, positive and cooperative with all staff. 6. First Aid certification required. 7. CPR certification desired. 8. Bilingual preferred
