Job Summary

Visions is seeking to hire an Associate Director of Equity and Student Engagement. This position will organize and provide direction to school-wide equity efforts while developing and implementing student engagement activities and events, managing and leading related projects, specific curriculum and support as well as intervention programs. This position oversees specific federally funded programs such as Title 1, and other budget oversight to support students to accelerate their academic, social, and emotional growth. This position provides leadership and support to instructional and classified staff, furthermore, collaboration with local schools, non-profit, and community based organizations to refine, develop, and implement high quality programs to support equitable outcomes for students. Previous teaching, leadership, independent study, and alternative education experience is desirable. This position will be based at our offices in Carmichael, CA with travel to all counties served by Visions.
