About the Employer
Kashia Elementary School District is a small essential school district off the coast near Stewarts Point. Our small essential school supports the Kashia Rancheria for the Pomo Native Americans. The school is an exceptional opportunity for someone with vision and professionalism to provide a balance between the Pomo culture and district requirements. The school consists of a combination position of Superintendent/Principal/Teacher Leader. There are generally about 10 student from TK to 8 with one teacher and 2 aides. We have community support as well as SCOE training opportunities.

Job Description Three, Classified Aide 7 hours per day Job Description: Assist classroom teacher with daily instruction, yard duty, serving pre-prepared lunches, light cleaning . Location: Kashia school is five miles miles inland from Stewarts Point and the Pacific Ocean. The students are mostly Native American who live on the adjacent Pomo-Kashia Reservation. Requirements: High school diploma, experience with elementary students. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative manner.
