The Bennett Valley Union School District (BVUSD) serves approximately 950 students on two elementary campuses. Both schools are located in southeast Santa Rosa in quiet, residential neighborhoods, combining the best of rural and suburban settings. Yulupa serves TK-3 and Strawberry serves our 4th - 6th grade students. BVUSD is one of the top-performing districts in Sonoma County. Bennett Valley Union School District and the Bennett Valley Education Foundation are recruiting qualified applicants for a Choral DIrector. 1 hour per week, Monday's 1:45 - 2:45, paid 90 minutes to compensate for prep time. Minimum qualifications: Must love kids, want to teach singing, be able to sing, read music and transcribe music to suit young children (4th - 6th grade), pass fingerprint clearance, provide proof of negative tuberculin test, and have a high school diploma. Experience teaching singing to elementary-aged students is preferred.
