The position is for a multi-age ANNAPOLIS, CALIFORNIA Multi-age ELEMENTARY TEACHING POSITION Transitional Kindergarten-Kindergarten The Position: Horicon Elementary School District announces the opening for a 1st and 2nd grade combo teacher. Qualifications Required: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential CLAD or SDAIE Certificate Desired Skills and Abilities: Strong elementary curriculum Common Core knowledge Experience teaching primary grades Experience with a wide variety of effective instructional strategies. Solid communication skills. Ability to integrate content areas and work closely in a team setting. Confidence with technology. Desired Qualities and Characteristics: Demonstrates commitment to high quality education for all students. Ability to be firm and fair and a source of encouragement for students. Values teamwork with students, staff and community. Willingness to take on professional responsibilities. Openness to participating in district committees and other outside duties.
