Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) is a regional provider of Career Technical Education (CTE) and Adult Education. As the largest organization of its kind in Santa Clara County, we are dedicated to offering career-oriented education to both high school and adult students. Annually, MetroED provides 2,600 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning, and tax-paying contributors to Silicon Valley. MetroED collaborates with designated districts to provide comprehensive educational opportunities for adults and high school students. Through our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education program, we offer career technical education to high school students and, on a space-available basis, to adult students in the following districts: Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District. Additionally, our Silicon Valley Adult Education provides courses for the San Jose Unified School District.

Job Summary
This position is to serve as administrative confidential secretarial and executive assistant support to the Chief Business Official (CBO), Director of Human Resources/Title IX Coordinator and Director of Human Relations & Communications of Metropolitan Education District. The employee in this position works independently using a high degree of initiative, creativity and wisdom and maintains a positive attitude at all times. This position will have access to or gain information regarding privileged information. Privileged information may include student and/or parent information as well as information regarding fellow employees. It is expected that persons in this position will not release any privileged information about students, staff, labor relations or a topic properly confined to a closed session of the Board. This is a confidential position.
