Six (6) months experience working with preschool age students; High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE). Instructional Paraprofessional Proficiency Certificate, Must possess one of the following: Active Associate Teacher Child Development Permit or higher level permit or Child Development Associate Certification or Be enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate of baccalaureate degree or Be enrolled in a Child Development Associate credential program to be completed within two (2) years of the time of hire and ensure to meet the state licensing staff qualification requirements.

  • Certification (Active Associate Teacher Child Development Permit OR higher level permit or Child Development Associate Certification. )
  • NCLB Compliance (All applicants must submit a copy of an AA degree, transcripts showing at least 48 units OR a proficiency certificate showing that you have met the NCLB requirement.)

      The $1,000 Bonus will be paid to the unit member in the following manner: a. $500 to be paid within 45 days after the first day of paid contracted service. b. $250 to be paid within 45 days after the successful completion of the employee's probationary period (i.e., 6-months or 130 days as stated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement). c. $250 to be paid within 45 days after the successful completion of one year of paid contracted service. *You will be required to submit upon hire proof of Influenza (flu), Pertussis (TDaP), and measles (MMR) immunizations.
