Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. Two years experience working with school age students; High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam; Valid.
- NCLB Compliance (All applicants must submit a copy of an AA degree, transcripts showing at least 48 units OR a proficiency certificate showing that you have met the NCLB requirement.)

Comments and Other Information
The $1,000 Bonus will be paid to the unit member in the following manner:
a. $500 to be paid within 45 days after the first day of paid contracted service.
b. $250 to be paid within 45 days after the successful completion of the employee's probationary period (i.e., 6-months or 130 days as stated in the Collective
Bargaining Agreement).
c. $250 to be paid within 45 days after the successful completion of one year of paid contracted service.
