Three (3) years experience as a shop or commercial parts service professional or fleet vehicle mechanic with bulk parts ordering experience. shop or commercial parts service professional or fleet vehicle mechanic with bulk parts ordering experience; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Ability to lift 75 pounds in a series of functional tests which closely simulates the work environment; Individual must provide basic hand tools necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position; Possession and maintenance of: Valid California Commercial Driver’s License - Class A with air brakes certificate and “P” Endorsement, to be obtained within six (6) months of employment; Valid medical examiner’s certificate issued in accordance with the motor carrier safety regulations of the Department of Motor Vehicles; Department of Transportation Power Industrial Truck Operator’s Permit to be obtained within the first sixty (60) days of employment.
