Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Typing certificate evidencing an ability to keyboard at a NET RATE of 40 words per minute; Translate materials from English to native language and native language to English.

**New hire employees are required to enroll in medical coverage with Modesto City Schools, unless the employee is able to provide proof of other group coverage (i.e., coverage through spouse’s employer, etc.). In order to be considered for this position, you MUST attach a Typing Certificate which meet the requirements outlined on the "Typing Certificate Requirements", which may be found under "Links Related To This Job". To meet this requirement, you may also sign up for, take and pass the Modesto City Schools Clerical Assessment. You may sign up for the Assessment by clicking on the "Clerical Assessment Registration" link also found under "Links Related To This Job". Upon receiving a passing score, you will receive a Certificate which you will need to upload to your application.
