Candidate must have: • Fingerprints on file (DOJ & FBI) • Current TB Test Result • CPR/First Aid certification (online courses are not acceptable - Done as group in 1st week of season otherwise contact AD or Red Cross.) • Must have proof of Certified Athletic Trainer or Licensed Paramedic. • Successfully completed ALL of the following courses for clearance: Fundamentals of Coaching Course, Concussion, Protecting Students from Abuse and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificates from www.nfhslearn.com.

      The successful candidates will have demonstrated competencies in the following areas: • Knowledge and competency related to care and prevention of athletic injuries, basic first aid and emergency procedures. • Knowledge and competency in coaching theory and techniques in the sport being coached. • Knowledge and competency in the rules and regulations of the sport, state, section, league, and district policies. • Knowledge of psychology of the adolescent or child. • Knowledge of the Code of Ethical Conduct.
