Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Child Development, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Combination of successful experience as a dispatcher/supervisor in a bus transportation operation, three (3) years of supervisory experience in a transportation operation; Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Valid California Commercial Driver’s License – Class B with Air Brake Certificate; Valid medical examiner’s certificate issued in accordance with the Motor Carrier safety regulations of the Department of Motor Vehicles; Must provide a DMV printout within five (5) workdays of offer of employment.
