Job Summary

Job Summary

Some of these positions work with students in the RISE (Reaching Independence through Structured Education) program for high functioning students with autism. Assistants may accompany students enrolled in general education classes. Interest in working with an individual or small groups of students to support student access to the curriculum. Previous experience working with students and willingness to collaborate with other staff is preferred. Additional other duties as assigned related to emergency, crisis and/or pandemic.

* Any combination equivalent to: graduation from High School, supplemented by training and/or experience working with children in a learning situation. * Training and/or experience in working with autistic children is desirable. * 2 Letters of Recommendation required. * Pre-employment physical exam required. ** Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer.
