Experience working with students with disabilities, or verifiable units in child development or related field; High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or obtained an AA degree or successfully passed the Modesto City Schools Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam; Valid CPR Certificate; Ability to lift 40 pounds in a series of functional tests which closely simulate the work environment.

  • NCLB Compliance (All applicants must submit a copy of an AA degree, transcripts showing at least 48 units OR a proficiency certificate showing that you have met the NCLB requirement.)
