REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, information science, or related field; three years of increasingly responsible experience in managing cyber security and prevention systems in a network environment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience • Valid Class C CA driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s Vehicle Insurance Policy. • Knowledge of principles and practices of application architecture, cyber security, networks, services, databases, analysis, Cyber defense methodology, and technology. • Knowledge of methods and techniques of developing information systems solutions. • Knowledge of principles and practices of programming languages, servers, databases, operating systems, networks, TCP/IP protocols, and all related technologies. • Ability to effectively adapt and adjust program services to meet changing priorities and department-specific needs. • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and present information effectively in front of large and small groups.
