Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. Requirements: In depth knowledge of the California Standards of the Teaching Profession (CSTPs). An understanding of cultural, ethnic, cognitive, linguistic and gender diversity. Current knowledge of content standards (taught) and frameworks. Permanent Status as a Modesto City Schools Certificated Employee.

  • Credential Copy (A valid California Teaching Credential showing expiration date and subject description. "Suitable for framing" versions and expired copies of your credential will not be accepted. )
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters of Recommendation from Certificated Employees)
