Comments and Other Information
CORE is a Personalized Learning School where an individual learning plan is developed for each student. The Speech / Language Specialist assesses and provides speech and language therapy to students with active Individual Education Plans (IEP) specifying such services. Provides consultation to staff members/SST Coordinator regarding the remedial processes involved in instructing students with speech and language impairment needs and provide suggestions/recommendations. Assists other staff professionals in the diagnoses of communication disorders, development of planned remediation, and evaluation of the results. This position is full-time, including an employer contribution toward medical, dental, vision, life insurance benefits, and is a CalSTRS covered position.
