Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Child Development, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, valid California Teaching Credential and valid California Administrative Credential; Successful experience working with school site personnel in designing alternative programs and procedures to improve the educational program for all students including students "at-risk" of failing. Successful teaching experience in a public or private school setting.
