          CORE Butte Charter School is a public personalized learning school, a leader in innovative and research based learning. Students in the K-8 program receive home school instruction, supported by a credentialed teacher, learning center elective and academic classes. The high school follows a hybrid model, which may include a blend of learning center academic instruction, independent study, and classes at Butte College and/or California State University, Chico. Support and enrichment classes are offered at the learning centers. Parents agree to be highly involved at all levels. Highly qualified credentialed teachers monitor progress, assess for understanding, and guide learning along with the parent. Under the oversight of the Executive Director, the Chief Business Officer (CBO) is responsible for the administration and successful implementation of the School's budget and fiscal activities, which will include: maintenance of effective accounting, payroll, and internal audit systems for all funds, preparation and control of the budget including expenditure of all funds, compute revenue, estimate expenditures, and prepare financial reports for state, federal and County agencies. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring school is fiscally stable, and will contribute to the strategic direction of the School in carrying out the School's mission, goals, and objectives.
